With the victorious paschal greeting "Christ is Risen" and with faces full of the joy of the resurrection, the parishioners of St. Aidan of Lindisfarne, received their Archpastor John the Metropolitan of Europe.
On Sunday the 29th of April, His Eminence presided over the Divine Liturgy in which the Very Revd Archpriest Gregory Hallam, the parish priest and Dean of the Antiochian Orthodox Deanery in U.K. and Ireland and Deacons Christopher Neill and Parthenius, participated. During the Divine Liturgy His Eminence ordained the deacon Christopher Neill as a priest and the subdeacon Emanuel as as a deacon. At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence expressed his joy for being among the parishioners in this paschal period and wished a blessed ministry to the newly ordained.
After this, all the faithful were invited to an Agape prepared by the parishioners.
